'Fragrance of the district heating'
October 13 to November 4,

hu Ismeri azt az érzést, amikor belép egy lépcsőházba, és megcsapja egy megfoghatatlan, mégis jellegzetes szag? Ez az illategyveleg több összetevőből állhat: egy kis gázszivárgás, a folyosón telelő növények, vagy éppen egy kiteregetett ruha öblítőjének virágillata. A zárt ajtók mögött zajló városi életek otthonának illata ez, amelynek a lépcsőháza gyűjtőhelye. 

A házba belépő ember azonnal képet kap a lakókról és az épület milyenségéről. A lépcsőház átmeneti csendességéből aztán vagy bejutunk egy otthonba, vagy kilépünk az utcára. ​Ezen városi érzetek esszenciáját járom körbe a MOMKult lépcsőházában, a Reich Károly Galériában október 13-november 4-ig, éppen a fűtésszezon kezdetére időzítve.

en Do you know that feeling when you step into a stairwell and are greeted by an elusive yet distinctive scent? It is a blend of many elements: a hint of a gas leak, plants overwintering in the hallway, or perhaps the artificial floral aroma of fabric softener from drying laundry.

It is the scent of the urban lives unfolding behind closed doors—a scent for which the stairwell, as a transitional space, serves as a gathering point. Upon entering the building, one immediately gains an impression of the residents and the character of the structure itself.
​From the transitional quiet of the stairwell, one then either enters a home or steps out onto the street. I explore the essence of these urban sensations in the stairwell of MOMKult—specifically at the Károly Reich Gallery—from October 13 to November 4, timed to coincide with the start of the heating season.
